Led by their top laner CuVee and mid laner Crown, Samsung Galaxy's patient and methodical playstyle proved too much for SKT to handle. They may not have been as dominant as some other champions, but their ability to rise to the occasion when it mattered most earned them a spot in the top three.

4. FunPlus Phoenix (2019)

FunPlus Phoenix won the 2019 World Championship in convincing fashion, with their star player Doinb leading the way. Their unique drafts and aggressive playstyle caught many teams off guard, and they never looked back. 5. Royal Never Give Up (2018)

SK Telecom T1 may have been the most successful team in League of Legends history, but their 2019 campaign fell short of expectations. Despite coming in as favorites, they were upset by G2 Esports in the semifinals, denying them a chance to win their fourth World Championship. While they remain a legendary team, their 2019 performance prevents them from ranking higher.
